Here's a basis on what my next game will look like. Go on, test it out! It won't kill ya... I hope...
This time, the ATB bar is now called the "Wait" bar, and you get a turn when it finishes depleting.
You start off with 0 MP. Regular attacks gain you a little MP to use for abilities.
Check item and ability descriptions and see if stuff like element power ups work. This enemy is WEAK to dark magic and RESISTANT to earth and holy magic, so check that. Everything should work as far is I know, but hey, siht happens.
Also got a leveling up system going. You gain a little experience every time you attack and will level up the next turn you have. Abilities give more experience than regular attacks.
There are two cheat buttons on the top left corner that add MP and HP so you can keep playing. The right one adds HP for the enemy for the same reason.
So yeah, test it out for bugs and screw ups. And feel free to give suggestions on anything to fix or add to make it better.
The limit breaks aren't available yet. So the red bar is just for show. And I kinda screwed up Brian's nested animations and that's why the victory and death scenes are made last minute. I'll fix these by the next demo though.
And I originally intended to have good guys on the right side and bad guys on the left, but I was playing EBF right before starting this project and probably subconsciously copied it. So yeah, blame me if it looks too similar...
And before you ask, YES there will be more characters on your team. I'll try to finish them for the next demo.
Oh yeah, and the mushroom enemy is from Dark Souls. Feel free to give enemy suggestions as well if you want.
